Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour à Solar Windelo. La chambre Ninho est spacieuse et confortable, et la vue du balcon sur la baie est imprenable.
Veronico est très accueillant et nous a donné de très bons conseils pour profiter au mieux de notre séjour.

We stayed in the Room Vista, which is very spacious and has a very nice room over Mindelo. Everything was clean and looked newly renovated. The staff was very helpful with information and even gave us a lift to the boat in the morning. Breakfirst was more than expected. Unfortunately we stayed only one night, it ould have been longer.

My daughter and I had a splendid time for a few days in this beautiful, clean and colourful place. Great views but only a couple of minutes to walk down to the centre of the town. Very nice and helpful people, who can arrange everything you want. Even when we checked out and came back a few days later from Santo Antao we could leave our bags and use the service the whole day while our plane was leaving in the evening. Thank you for a wonderful stay and all your kind and good services. If we come back to Sao Vicente we would certainly stay with you again.

Nous avons eu un meilleur séjour à Solar Windelo. l'Hôtel est bien situé dehors le centre de la ville avec une vue merveilleuse sur la ville et son port. Nous étions surpris par l'atmosphère familiale et chaleureux avec une service impeccable.

nous avons passé 14 jours dans le studio"VentCraidor" ce séjour a été très agréable . Le studio est suffisamment grand et confortable .Veronico a un très bon contact avec ses résidents et les jeunes femmes qui font le ménage sont efficaces et très souriantes. le lieu est intéressant la vue sur le port de Mindelo est magnifique et on a l'avantage d'être en ville. c'est une résidence que nous conseillons à ceux qui souhaitent découvrir Saô Vicente.

We have wonderful memories of the time we spent in the Solar Windelo. Well located - close to the city centre but in a quiet area, with great views. Especially the view from the balcony at the front is particularly amazing. Thoughtful, kind and helpful hosts; Amaury willingly gave valuable informations and advices on trips, beaches, restaurants and local attractions. Clean room and delicious breakfasts.
We highly recommend Solar Windelo - If we have ever been in Mindelo again, we would have certainly stayed at the same place.
Bardzo milo wspominamy czas, ktory spedzilismy w Solar Windelo. Troskliwi, mili i pomocni gospodarze stworzyli nam idealne warunki do wypoczynku. Amaury chetnie udzielal cennych informacji i rad na temat wycieczek, plaz, restauracji i miejscowych atrakcji. Mily personel zapewniał nam czysty pokoj i pyszne sniadania.
Hotel bardzo korzystnie polozony: cichy i z pieknym widokiem, a jednoczesnie 10 minut spacerem od centrum.
To były wyjatkowe, niezapomniane wakacje. Z przyjemnoscia skorzystamy ponownie.

Merci de m'avoir réservé chaleureusement, votre hôtel est très propre et très magnifique avec de belle vue de Mindelo que j'ai pris de nombreuses photos. Votre prix est très honorable.
J'adore cette ville de Mindelo où je me suis baladé pendant 3 jours et surtout la région de Santo Antao (2 semaines).
J'ai très bien passé trois semaines au Cap Vert, je suis très heureux.
Bien sûr, j'aimerais repartir au même endroit en vous réservant très bientôt dans votre hôtel peut-être en juin prochain...

O Solar Windelo foi exactamente aquilo que esperávamos dele: Espectacular! No topo de uma das colinas de Mindelo, com uma vista deslumbrante sobre a cidade, longe da confusão e ao mesmo tempo bem perto de tudo. A simpatia de todos os seus funcionários fez nos sentir em casa e a própria história associada à casa deixou-nos com mais vontade de conhecer o artista Vasco Martins. Se procuram um local onde se possam sentir Cabo Verdianos por uns dias, este é o local ideal. Obrigado, uma vez mais, a todos pela simpatia e dedicação!

quatre nuits passées dans le studio criador plus que parfait
grand studio propreté irréprochable, personnel sympatique et discret, et que dire de la gentillesse des propriétaires. le petit dejeuner est copieux vue sur la baie et pris en terrasse
que du bonheur pour un prix plus qu honorable quartier agrable proche du centre merci a solar windelo pour ses quatres jours

We had a lovely four night stay in Vent Criador. The apartment is very spacious, clean and comfortable. It has good self catering facilities for those who feel like cooking or eating in. It also has a teriffic terrace to enjoy a few sundowners while taking in a great view of the harbour and sunset.
The guesthouse is well located, a short walk to the main square and town centre. Taxis around town are very cheap, if needed.
All staff we encountered were very helpful and friendly. A good breakfast was a welcome bonus.
The owner, Amaury very kindly stayed up until 1am to welcome us after our TACV flight was delayed.
In short, I highly recommend Solar Windelo for anyone staying in Mindelo for a few days.

A escolha do alojamento recaiu foi o estúdio vent criador, o qual estava muito bem equipado e proporcionou 6 dias de férias na perfeição.
A localização é boa, perto da praça nova o centro da cidade do Mindelo, e tem a melhor vista sobre a baía, apenas tem o inconveniente de ficar numa encosta muito acentuada que é cansativa no regresso, e pouco aconselhável de fazer de noite a pé seguindo as instruções do staff do Solar Windelo, mas os táxis são muito baratos sendo aconselhável o seu uso para o regresso, portanto este facto não é relevante.
O staff é ótimo, obrigado ao Veronico e á Emília foram excelentes anfitriões com todas as informações e ajudas que necessitamos durante a estadia, a limpeza é excelente, o conforto também, e a relação preço qualidade é excelente.
Não conheci os restantes alojamentos, mas posso seguramente recomendar o Solar Windelo aos viajantes e certamente que volto a ficar ali alojado se regressar ao Mindelo.

This was a great place to stay in Mindelo. Well located: close to the city centre and great views! The studio Vent'Criador was big and well equipped if you, like my partner, like to make your own coffee and cook sometimes! The room was cleaned daily and everyone was very friendly, from giving us a lift to the ferry when we were running late and holding our forgotten shirts! Would definitely stay again and recommend!

Accueil chaleureux et sympatique (et en francais), chambres confortables, petit dejeuner copieux... Bref, un excellent rapport qualite-prix.
N hesitez pas a solliciter l aide de Veronico pour l organisation de votre sejour sur les iles de Sao Vicente et Santo Antao, vous ne le regreterez pas !

We are a Portuguese couple who likes to travel whenever we can. We like to pack up and leave for a place that becomes the new home, the new culture ... as if we were to stay there forever. We found the Solar Windelo by chance, and it seemed the ideal place. We were there for 7 nights and would have stayed much longer. Because we like to cook and prefer home cooked meals so we can manage to travel a little more ... we were in a fantastic studio, very well equipped, very comfortable and with access to a terrace with a breathtaking view. We were very well attended by all, they helped us to develop a plan to seize the islands of St. Vincent and Santo Antão, and we will never forget the day trips they recommended us, and we have always done with much enthusiasm. These vacations were unforgettable from the Human and cultural points of view, always with the comfort of waking up slowly as taking a breakfast with a view that is good for the soul. I strongly recommend to all who, like us, like to feel at home all over the world. I hope to return there one day ...

Nice rooms, Ninho was the best with good views. Location is good, easily to walk to the ferry or city centre.
