We planned only a two days-stay at Windelo, but after a great welcome we came back. After a 4 days trip to Tarrafal (San Atao) we changed our flight scheme to stay at the beautiful residence of Windelo for two more days.
The welcome, rooms and hospitality were great and we wish Amaury and Vivienne succes in building there retirement place. Special thanks to our Hospitality manager( forgot his name) from Senegal who did make us feel at home immediately.
We are surely comming back!

We loved to stay in this quiet, nice place. The view over town and harbor is fabulous, also the sunrises. Great appartment, very clean, everything tiptop. People were helpfull and friendly with open mind. Thanks!

Hello travellers,
we are Merce and Toño from the north of Spain. We spent five days in Sao Vicente living in Windelo. A nice and clean room with a beautiful view of Mindelo Harbour. If we will come back Mindenlo we will be there again, it was perfect.

Hello,
We did enjoy our stay at your hotel.
We arrived very late, it was already after midnight because of a delayed
flight but the welcome was good and friendly.
We enjoyed the breakfast in the morning with toast and fruit. I was delighted there was choco because for the rest of our 3 weeks visit on
the islands we didn't saw it again in the morning.
I will recommand your hotel to my friends if they want to visit San Vicente.

Hi, i wanted to congratulate the family Amaury for their outstanding residence windelo. Not only is the accommodation excellent and professional, but moreover it is out of the ordinary if one refer to hospitality, help and making you feel at ease.
My mother in law has been welcomed as if she were part of the family and she had the greatest time.
I have been traveling myself to many places in the world while staying at very homey places and i can only greatly recommend the windelo.
Please do not believe mistakenly that we do this only as personal favor to people whom we do appreciate a great deal, but rest assured this is more a favor to anyone of you wishing to have a remarkable holiday.

Windelo is very good place to stay because there is a great view on Mindelo bay , staff is very friendly and the service is excellent.

We have stayed in Windelo November 2006 for several days and it was the highlight of our 14days trip to the Cabo Verde. Apart from the lovely views from the veranda that makes one relax and forget about the troubles in this world, we were taken by the hospitality we encountered. Plenty of tips of where to eat and what to see made our stay worthwhile. A special time in a special place, always worth remembering. Thanks to Isabella and everyone else that looked after us so well. We loved it and if we come back, we will definately plan to stay there.

Nous avons enfin trouvé une résidence paisible, très bien placée, avec un très bon accueil à Mindelo. Pour être venue 5 fois au Cap Vert, je n'étais pas satisfaite de l'hébergement à Mindelo. Nous reviendrons au Cap Vert et réserverons au même endroit. Merci et à bientôt. Natalie et Dominique.

We stayed in your apartment in September 06. The rooms were lovely, the service was excellent and we found the staff to be very friendly and helpful.
Sao Vicente is one of our favorite islands in Cape Verde. We look forward to returning in the near future and staying at "Windelo".

La "residencial" est une belle maison, magnifiquement bien placée, jouissant d'une vue splendide sur la baie de Mindelo. Les chambres/suites sont élégantes et comfortables.
Nous n'avons pas regretté notre choix et avons passé un mois agréable et sympatique à la Residencial.

The family embarked from Dublin Ireland early April we flew to Sal and took a flight to San Vincent and stayed at "Windelo". We traveled with our two young children age 3 and 6. The accommodation comprised of a family room with two single beds and 1 double there was a wonderful of home about the set up and the en-suit bathroom was very spacious. The "VIEW" from our very balcony was so wonderful i will live the memory for a very long time. The balcony although quite small was i feel he best way to wake in the morning. The dining room was really family friendly and self service the lady of the house could not have tried harder to assist us, both herself and her husband were so truly welcoming towards us it was a breath of fresh air. The hill up to the house is a little steep but it was "bearable" i would recommend Windelo to anybody who wishes to enjoy a relaxed, friendly and genuine welcoming stay the accommodation was very reasonable and the couple themselves were genuine, honest and really friendly people. I will be staying there again on my future trips.

We have so fond memories ofmindelo and the time we spent with you at Windelo. Amaury, you made our stay so much more memorable due to all the usefull information and guidance you gave us. We are now thinking of buying property in France as its a bit safer and closer to england. It also has the best quality of life in the world (apparently) and we want a piece of that!
